- Frederick JI was a bit apprehensive about starting up Capoeria again after almost 20 years, but I'm so grateful that I did. Everybody in the club is so friendly and encouraging, no matter what level you're at. If you come you'll be welcomed into the fold... chances are you'll see me there... I can't see myself stopping anytime soon!! Between the music, the culture, the workout and the good vibes; You'll be dragging your friends along to have fun as well.
- Jess PI have been training there for a couple of months. This is definitely a great place to play capoeira. The teacher is very passionate about the art and knowledgeable about all the aspects of it (music, history, technics etc.). The students go from beginner to advanced so no matter what your level is, you will have fun and learn. This is also a very open, free and kind atmosphere. The studio is accessible by train, tram or bus. Very close to Elsternwick train station.
- Destine DThese guys hire our space to run their classes. Damiano, the guy who runs it, is professional both in the way he runs the classes and with people he works with - us for example. We see students come in each class and often a few extra. They keep coming back so you know a good job is being done. This is definitely the place to go if you want to try out Capoeira.
