Capoeira ACDP Australia
aims to teach and promote Capoeira. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian cultural practice, an art form that involves sport, body expression, music and tradition. Capoeira promotes mutual respect and inclusion between diverse individuals and communities.
ACDP was founded in 1973 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) by Mestre Pantera. Since 2015, Estagiário Camaleão has been teaching Capoeira in the southern suburbs of Melbourne (classes are currently held at the Elwood Bowls Club).
Come and have a go! No experience is required.
ACDP Capoeira Australia acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, work, and play Capoeira.
